Global Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (PMEAL) Advisor in Humanitarian, Policy, and Analysis unit

The Red Cross Red Crescent Movement is the world's largest humanitarian organization. In the Danish Red Cross, we are looking for a new Global PMEAL Advisor to support our international humanitarian engagement.
As PMEAL Advisor position you will join a team of engaging and passionate colleagues in the Humanitarian, Policy & Analysis unit's PMEAL-IM team, that works to support the needs and priorities in the region including adaptive management, results frameworks, tools, and templates, needs assessments, and research efforts. The PMEAL-IM team is responsible for leading DRC’s global analysis, evaluation, learning, accountability, and data/digitalization functions.
The PMEAL Advisor position will be responsible for providing PMEAL advice and support to DRC’s engagement in Sudan, Mali, and Niger with a specific focus on migration and route-based assistance.
In addition, the position will be DRC’s PMEAL lead on the new Pathways to Protection (P2P) consortia programme which will be implemented together with the Danish Refugee Council and the International Detention Coalition. Over 5 years, the programme will deliver a rights-based, people-centred, and evidence-informed intervention to foster sustainable, effective, and localized protection and humanitarian systems and services along the main migration routes.
The strategic priorities for the broader Africa region, which the position will also support, include health in emergencies, non-communicable diseases (including mental health), disaster response and anticipatory action, migration and inclusion, youth action, branch development, innovative financing, community engagement and accountability (CEA), and protection, gender, and inclusion (PGI).

The PMEAL Advisor will be line managed by the Head of Humanitarian Policy and Analysis Unit in DRC’s HQ in Copenhagen.
The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark with extensive travels to the region and specifically to Mali, Niger and Sudan.
