The Red Cross Copenhagen has existed since 1917 and is the largest local branch of the Red Cross in Denmark. We have 3,500 volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to over 50 different activities for the benefit and joy of the most vulnerable in our local area. The Red Cross Copenhagen covers the municipalities of Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, Tårnby, and Dragør.

Our ambition is that socially vulnerable individuals in the capital should have the opportunity to participate in the communities they desire. They should have the support they need, especially during the difficult transitions in life when resources are particularly scarce.
